Lean Six Sigma Case Study in the health care industry-

Take a “Four Stop” tour on the quality journey of the Collaborative for Community Health Planning to improve transportation for health appointments.

The ride includes a view of validating transportation as a strategic initiative through data collection of community members that missed appointments. A Lean Six Sigma project to reduce “no shows” displays proactive, fundamental shifts in the process. A pilot provides clear view of gaps and the true customer needs. The final stop is a platform at the station to fill the gap in the community.
