West Ward Pharmaceuticals Tour

West Ward Pharmaceuticals

West-Ward Columbus Pharmaceuticals is one of the top generic prescription medication providers in the US.  We are the US agent and subsidiary of Hikma Pharmaceuticals  PLC.

The facility in Columbus, OH is a state of the art 1 million square foot manufacturing facility with approximately 1,000 people employed.  We have full development, manufacturing and distribution capabilities for Liquids, Oral solid dosage (potent and non-potent) and Dry powder inhalation technologies.

Faced by rising cost of goods, constant market demand for lower cost high- quality products and aggressive generic competition, pharmaceutical manufacturers are required to operate at industry benchmarked efficiency levels while ensuring good regulatory compliance in order to remain competitive.

Since West-Ward Pharmaceuticals operates within a high product mix environment serving multiple market segments (Generic, brand contract manufacturing and over the counter medicines), the traditional lean manufacturing tools are not always applicable to its operations.  But, with a carefully selected approach, a wide array of tools and best practices were selected and implemented while paying attention to the principles of world class operations.

Countless companies have implemented lean manufacturing concepts to achieve savings and optimize their current processes and we would like to share ours with you.   Please join ASQ and West-Ward pharmaceuticals for an evening filled with a tour of the supply chain and discussions highlighting the pharmaceutical company’s innovative approach to Lean manufacturing and quality operations.

Tour starts promptly at 6pm. There is a limit of 40 people.

If you can't make the meeting after registering, please notify Bill Soller at 614-570-2541,
